It was Strasuno street. The street was named after Samuel Strashun (the "Rashash"), a renowned 19th-century Talmudist and scholar from Vilna. Following World War II and the Soviet era, many historical street names in the Old Town were changed. Strasuno street is now known as Žemaitijos g
