Notes
The only Nazi concentration camp on French soil, in the Vosges mountains of Alsace; by 1944–45 most prisoners were held in its sub‑camps east of the Rhine. Yitzhak Estrajcher was registered to Natzweiler (the "Wüste" sub‑camp complex) in March 1945.
