Biography

Leizer Khonon Telz, a glover, was born on 7 October 1839 in Vilnius. With his first wife, Beila Burshtein, he had four children — Meshulem Leiba, Judes, Sora and Abram. After Beila's death he married Dina Vidutzky, on 6 May 1899 in Vilnius. He died in Vilnius on 18 March 1914.
