Biography
Khaim Porubansky was born around 1849 in Vilnius, a son of Hirsh Movsha Porubansky and Shimka Mikhal. He married Malka Milshtein in Vilnius on 20 May 1885, and they had five children — Izrail, Sara, Aizik, Rivka and Iudel. He died in Vilnius on 17 March 1901, of a heart defect.
