Jenny E Elke, also recorded as Eugenie Bruner and later as Jenny Imroth, was born on 19 August 1908 in Łódź. She married Leo Tiefenbrunner in Chicago on 20 October 1928, as his first wife; the marriage ended. She died in Milwaukee on 1 March 1988 and is buried at Irving Park Cemetery, Chicago.
