Lea "Lina" Steinhart

Lea Steinhart, known as Lina, was born on 9 March 1875 in Tarnobrzeg. She married Kalman Tiefenbrunner and they had four children, all born in Strasbourg — Samuel Mordechai, Marie, Rose and Fanny. After the war, on 16 October 1947, she sailed from Marseille to Israel aboard the SS Transylvania. She died in Tel Aviv on 1 May 1962 and is buried at Kiryat Shaul Cemetery.
