Samuel Mordechai Tiefenbrunner

Samuel Mordechai Tiefenbrunner was born on 7 July 1905 in Strasbourg, a son of Kalman Tiefenbrunner and Lea Steinhart. He reached Mandatory Palestine aboard the ship Jerusalem on 6 May 1935, and in 1946 applied for Palestinian citizenship. He married Malka Gast and they had two daughters, Ruth Rachel and Yehudith. Samuel died in Tel Aviv on 29 May 1963 and is buried at Kiryat Shaul Cemetery.
