Biography

Balima Schmidt, also recorded as Bluma, was born on 19 March 1891 in Bojanowo. She married Aaron Hillinger and they had three daughters — Suzy Sara, Annie Chana and Letty Zlata. She was deported from the Drancy internment camp near Paris on transport 64, between 7 and 10 December 1943, to Auschwitz-Birkenau, where she was murdered on arrival on 10 December 1943.
