Biography
Rosa Zippora Sigall was born on 2 October 1924 in Bretten, a daughter of Levi Sigall and Erna Ester Tiefenbrunner. She appears in her 1937 seventh-grade class photograph in Karlsruhe. From April 1940 she lived with her mother and sister at Haidplatz 4/8, Regensburg, and from February 1941 at the Antonienheim in Munich. Between August and September 1941 she was subjected to forced labour at the Flachsröste Lohhof flax-retting plant. She died in the Holocaust in Munich on 22 September 1941, of meningitis and sepsis, and is buried at the New Jewish Cemetery there. She is remembered by a Stolperstein laid in Regensburg in 2022 and by a memorial at the former Flachsröste Lohhof site.
