Biography

Hanoch Kaplieckis was born in February 1918 in Kaišiadorys, Lithuania. He applied for a passport in Kaunas in 1935. During the war he was confined in the Kovno ghetto, where he married Mania Porubansky. When the ghetto was liquidated in July 1944 he was deported to the Dachau/Kaufering camps and died at Landsberg on 28 March 1945, weeks before liberation.
