Biography
Simcha Freida Turetz, née Kaplan, was born about 1888 in Kaunas, a daughter of Yankel Kaplan. She married Yakov Turetz and raised their twelve children in Kaunas. In 1941, in the first months of the German occupation, she was murdered near Ukmergė (Vilkomir) together with several of her children.
