Jakov Jozef Estrajcher

Jakov Jozef Estrajcher was born on 27 August 1903 in Sosnowiec, a son of Symcha Binem Estrajcher and Estera Laja Ernst, whose family kept a haberdashery and textile shop at 19 Modrzejowska Street. In 1939 he made a donation to the Jewish community. He married Malka Szternberg on 27 March 1931, and they had two children, Yitzhak and Tyla. In 1940 the family was moved into the Środula ghetto, from Modrzejowska 19 to Bergzeile 2a/21. Jakov was murdered at Auschwitz-Birkenau around August 1943.
