Rachmiel Estrajcher

Rachmiel Estrajcher was born on 30 April 1911 in Sosnowiec, a son of Symcha Binem Estrajcher and Estera Laja Ernst, and worked as a furrier. On 13 October 1934 he travelled to Palestine, appearing on the Knesset Israel voters' lists for Tel Aviv in 1936 and for Haifa in 1938, before returning to Poland. He married Gitla Joskowits. By August 1942 the couple, back in Pabianice and then confined in the Łódź ghetto at Rembrandt Strasse 97, were murdered at Auschwitz-Birkenau that year.
